Heyo.

This week was pretty great.
- We had interviews with President Ames. He did the interviews in
missionaries apartments, so you better believe it was squeaky clean.
They went great, as usual.

- It is real warm all the time. Even the cold water is warm. It has
been over 100 almost every day. I honestly love being a sweaty bike
missionary.



- If you look closely at this picture, you can see Cowboy stadium,
ranger stadium, and 6 flags, all in our area. It is unreal how big
cowboy stadium is. Ridiculous.

Road Trip

Dear Fam-damn-ily,

This week was pretty crazy. Elder Ray and I have barely even been together this week. Here is my week.

Monday- we had a meeting with Pres all p-day, busy busy.

Tuesday- We drove down to Waco (like 2 hours away). We went to Elder Tanner's (Mijo!!) district meeting. In the middle of the church there is a huge smoking area hahah, it is super weird.

Right after, we went on exchange with Mexia aka the middle of nowhere. It was way fun to be out in the boonies haha, but only for a day. Here is Elders Hornberger, Tanner, Ray and I.

Wednesday- We drove up from Mexia to Hillsboro, finished an exchange. Elder Ray and I were companions for 3 whole minutes before we started another exchange. We drove up to Euless, and it took forever in the car. Elder Cloward spent like a year and a half in Argentina so he has a mad Argentinian accent haha it was funny.

Thursday- We finished up with Hillsboro, drove down to temple, started another exchange. It was another long driving day. We left the apartment at 7:45am and got back at 6:15pm.

Frid
ay- Drove down to Temple, finished an exchange, then we went to Killeen. In Killeen we ate at  this awesome place called Black Meg 43. From there we drove up to Weatherford and started yet another exchange.

Sturday- Drove out to Weatherford and finished the exchanges for the week. 

Sunday- Not a ton happened. 

This week I probably spent a good 20 hours in the car. It was kinda long haha, but road trips are fun. We have a couple more of them coming up, so we are thinking about buying a cooler and some snacks for the next two weeks. It would be awesome. Much love to all at home.

My Fingers Say Euless Spanish A

Hey y'all.

This week was real good. Elder Hagen and Elder Beckert (the one from Oaxaca) left, and they both went out to the boonies haha. Elder Ray is here and he's super chill and we've had a good time. We have tons of ideas about little things here and there throughout the mission, so we'll see if we can change 'em up. 

Looks  like mom and dad had tons of fun! Haha, Speaking of mom, I can call sometime between 3 and 3:30 here time, (2 and 2:30 there time) if that works?

I done broke my ankle.

Hey y'all. Texas is pretty great. All is well here. 

Some highlights from this week-

If last week was my mental breakdown, this week was my physical breakdown. On Monday, we had a combined zone activity with Hurst North. A couple of elders from our zone made teams so it was 4 on 4, the best from Hurst South (represent!) vs Hurst North. We were smacking them up and down the half-court, until I destroyed my ankle. Hahaha, one of the elders was filming the game, so today I can watch it in slo-mo replay haha. I'm pretty excited. I was hobblin' around for a few days, but it's pretty fine now. This is what it looked like a few days after. 

 eww... feet.

Another highlight, the mission secretary is a baller and loves me. He called me and told me that he was trying to clean out the mission storage units, so if we wanted to grab anything, we could. We went and shnagged these awesome huge paintings haha, best apartment ever. 

Also, I've been in a trio for the last week, I think I mentioned that last week, but it's been pretty fun. He was sent from Oaxaca (the super dangerous south part of Mexico) because the cartels are extremely bad right now. He is a solid missionary, and he'll finish his mission here in Texas, Fort Worth. He's been with us for a couple days now, haha. I love trios. 

Also, Transfers are this wednesday and... I'm staying in Euless. Haha, 1 year in Hurst ward yay. My new comp is going to be Elder Ray, he's super solid and chill. I'm way stoked for this transfer.

Hi Lites

What up? So this week was pretty nuts. Here are some highlights-

We went to Waco. That means 2-3 hour drives. I ate at Bush's Chicken (apparently it is the best fried chicken place in Texas and it's only in the south. It tasted like almost all other fried chicken to me ha ha). We also saw virgil the street prophet ha ha, this crazy guy who always blesses the traffic in Waco. 

We had Zone Conference. President Ames is a baller. He knows what's up. 

We found a cool new family. We'll see what happens. 

I self diagnosed myself with an allergy to stainless steel. For the last 18 months I've had a lil rash on my wrist under my watch that never wanted to go away. This week it got super angry and painful, so I finally decided to take off the watch. For now, I'm rockin this style.

That's pretty much it. Elder Robbins from the presidency of the 70 is coming on saturday, so that'll be cool.
